My second model, the first being the jet engine I posted shortly before (it had been sitting about for a while). I was working on this last weekend, just fine tuning it now and arranging some pics. Eventually i will put it into a scene, probably some sort of desert war, i have the background image already.
What do you think? I want to improve the texture a bit but i'm not sure how. Plus the back end is to square, any ideas for there.

Take the front of the pontoons and copy them to the back. then shorten them a bit, so that they have a steeper angle. You might want to look at bevelling the side edges of the pontoons as well. Right now, they're very sharp.

Narrow the entire thing, and add some giant fans beneath it, and you'll actually have a viable reason for it to hover ;)

reminds me of the hover MLRS in Tib Sun..

Nice. For a second model, VERY nice. I would make a copy of the model before attempting to bevel the edges- if you don't have a special function for it, like I didn't, your first few tries will get very hairy indeed, and you'll likely lose the model (I did. Twice.)
And you might wanna get some better texes. Just work on those ones in Photoshop. Good texturing (particularly when extends to bump maps, specularity, etc.) make even the worst garbage look pretty good, and make good models look nearly photorealistic.

I did one, a long time ago, back when I was using 3ds3. Was quite good, I have no shame looking at this mesh ( contrary to most of the models I did then )
