I believe you mean Carol of the Bells.  Never heard anyone call it scary before, though.  :wtf:

Sang that in four part in my university choir one year.  Went around town singing it for people.  Lots of fun.  The bass part rocks.

Besides the "stillie" its completely Dutch as well :D

(If it were "stille" it would be 100% Dutch :p)
