What is the matter with Lithunwrap and screwed up geometry in after UV models? trueSpace has trouble editing the models after texturing them in Lithunwrap. The program seems to separate every face into individual objects, so I have about over 200 subobjects after dismantling the model in trueSpace. If the faces don't separate, I can't edit points, edges, and faces in trueSpace. Especially can't edit edges. (The program doesn't even show the green outline when I hover my cursor over the edeg.) I like to texture the first LOD first and weld points on the textured LOD for other LODs and debris, so I don't have to texture every LOD and debris. Is there a way to avoid this?

You're the 2nd person I've heard describe the problem where it makes seperate objects out of each poly. In their case they reinstalled Lith Unwrap and the problem went away. It certainly shouldn't do that.
The only things Lith will do are:
a) delete your lights and **** up your hierarchy.
b) clone textures for textures which are shared by seperate pieces of geometry.
c) seperate geometry which is "loosely connected" in truespace (ie: joined via a boolean but not actually joined by edges). You have to use degenerate into seperate objects to pull them apart and reattatch them.

you forgot
d)when you save to *.cob with some versions of lithunwrap, the model has the shadings setted to "facet" and there is no way to change to autofacet or smooth.
I solved this using the version of lithunwrap from your site(thanks:)): althought it is 1.3 version like the other versions that i tried it should be a little more recent build (it also has a little different startup screen)

I think I`m the person IP was refering to. Installing the other version from his website solved the problem (even though both versions claim to be the same version and I actually downloaded the one I have from the Lithunwrap site before it closed down)

Oh right. There you go then. Download the version from my site. That's settled then. I rule :)
