I,ve decided to again attempt to model a capship. Little rough in some parts though.

It got a lot of potential for a nice large ship, destroyer or superdestroyer. Just needs work on a less boxy shape, but its a good starting shape. WIP, i understand?

reminds me of a submarine, what is the fuction of the tail? engine compartment, or a weapons platform?
and what kind of cap is it gonna be, destroyer, corvette, carrier or just a juggernaut?
perhaps you could make the tail bigger, so that it starts with being as big as the entire rear of the ship, or you could make the rear a fighterbay entrance.

That tail, would be the forward Command Deck, as in the front of the ship.

you know, IMO that's a tail, and that the rounded section is the front, that just looks more natural.

:wtf:
Lets see, the back end of the ship is flat, its where the engine are, 4 square areas as you can see, no way could the back of the ship look like the front. This "tail" as you can see, is located on the left, not in the middle.

so?the rest of my front or your rear (sorry for the expresion) is round, it just looks better, and to place a command center on the taillike thingy is just asking for trouble. a single helios and all your command staff is gone, and if this is a juggernaut, that is way to big for just a command center.  it would make a lot more sence to have that be a weapons platform, have the big flat surface contain the propulsion (or if the ship is realy big, make it the fighterbay entrance) and have the bridge located inside the ship, where it wouldn't be so easily destroyed. just my opinion, tough

The Front section is the command section and this is a Nodewar juggernaut. So it'd have shields on it.

ok, shields, but it still looks to big for just command tough, and inside the ship would be safer (sp?),off course. and it just looks like a tail, that's all. it's not that i don't like it, it's just that I think it should be the other way around.
anyway, explain more about it, is there a fighterbay, if so, where is it? how big is it?

Its actually the where all the crew stay etc. Its safer, cos the ship uses Anti-matter as a power source, a lot of AM.

ok, i get your point. it might be cool to make the thing separateable (sp?) just like the saucer on the galaxy class ships form star trek.

It can do that, with a series of charges which will propel it away from the main body in cause of containment failure.

ummm...not really the best way of doing it.

The charges help seperate the hulls, then thrusters take over.
