Well, As I have seen Vasudans-> Ancient Egyptians, GTA-> Ancient Greeks

[History geek]

Let me help out if needed.

Reasons I can help:

1. I am Greek.
2. I am also quite fluent in ancient Greek, where those names (Hercules, Athena, Apollo) come from.
3. Minoan Civillisation, was a Pre-Greek civ. Basically when the Ancient Greeks came unto Greece, they destroyed the Minoans. That was way back in 1800 AD (they took advantage of the Santorini island's volcano Blowing out (300 Hiroshimas' worth of TNT), (20m high Tsunamis) and blitzkrieged ravaged Minoans.
4. They also "assimilated" the resident Non-Greeks called "Pelasgoi" as well. (That was before the Minoans)

Some names, (most of them city names, remained) all bearing the -nt-  or -nth- and the -os (which is typical of Pre-Greek names, even if it is with us for so long it is now our own.)

as in

Kori-nth-os,  or Corinth in English
Tyri-nth-a
Zaky-nth-os, or Zante in Englisn
