Title: Do not seek your goal, but let it come to you...
Post by: Stryke 9 on December 21, 2002, 06:22:18 pm
Email I got...

Quote
You want email addresses; we've got lots of fresh ones.
Face it, there's no way you're going to extract 400 million email addresses with some flimsy email extractor program you downloaded from the web. You're lucky if you can extract 2 million in a year!

Our email addresses are even targeted in 34 different categories to help you
reach only the market you want.

No need to buy any more directories from the web. We've bought almost all of them for you, cleaned them up including removal of duplicates and flamers,
and compiled them into a 4 disk volume for only $139.00

Now you can send emails to millions of people worldwide. Imagine if only a small number out of even 1 million emails sent responded to your email.
Don't you think you'd make something out of that?

No need to worry if our email addresses will work with your mailing program. We already thought of that and made sure to save all files as text files. Text files are the most universal types of files so they will import easily. Also, there's no limit to how many times you can use our email addresses.

Still have more specific questions? We're here to help. You can contact us by email At [email protected]  make sure to put "ENQUIRY" in the subject line

Want to order? Follow the instructions below: [goes on...]

Now, the question is how one responds to the source of all the bastards that have been spamming me... specifically, virus or hack?

If anyone else wants to take a shot, here's the slimeball. He doesn't seem to have a sophisticated op (he lists another address called "superstud" and can't spell), so you'll probably get your message through loud and clear.

I'd say hack. Delete his buddy list, and then go ahead and delete all those e-mail addresses from his hardrive.

me thinking Uber-Deadly-WTF-****ty-Computer Virus. it causes a breakdown in the computer just as someone is closing down their computer for the night. in the morning, such loud profanities as "WTF?!!" and "Sh**y Computer!!!" can be heard from miles around. It also has a cute little yellow smiley with the words "You've been UDWTFSC'd"

stop me. ive become very dangerous

Find out his real e-mail address and then use it whenever something requests an e-mail address and you don`t particularly want to give one.

Ralsky, meanwhile, is looking at new technology. Recently he's been talking to two computer programmers in Romania who have developed what could be called stealth spam.

It is intricate computer software, said Ralsky, that can detect computers that are online and then be programmed to flash them a pop-up ad, much like the kind that display whenever a particular Web site is opened.

"This is even better," he said. "You don't have to be on a Web site at all. You can just have your computer on, connected to the Internet, reading e-mail or just idling and, bam, this program detects your presence and up pops the message on your screen, past firewalls, past anti-spam programs, past anything.

"Isn't technology great?"

WTF?!!!

I WANT TO KILL THIS MAN! I don't want no stupid ass popup interupting my gaming session! If he ever manages to get that working , he will surely die. Not by me... But by some Counterstrike clan hitsquad... This sort of **** pisses me off more than Moulin Rouge!

Trace his IP and report him to the relevant authorities if the place you and he live in has anti spamming laws then laugh as the cops steal all his equipment.

Bah, I was considering taking this story from the VWBB when I saw it the other day, but I figured to let them have what little unique content they could get. :p

After reading that he has come up with stealth-spam, i felt the urge to cut his liver out with a spoon.  I considered this crude and weak, so now i want to treat him to a wonderful dinner of spam-cabobs and spam-and-eggs, then cut his liver out with a spoon.

Of course he will be tortured first.  starvation and daily beatings, anyone?  But then again, I could force him to eat his own **** for 24-hours and then dis-embowel and hang him from one of his balconys.  Even better, skin him alive and feed the skin to farm animals.  I don't know how we should kill him, but we need to do it slow and make every effort to keep him alive until we are satisfied.
