Hi everyone, I've been an FS2 fan for years and I finally decided to make a campaign.

In my mission, I wanted to make an Orion explode and to use the blast from its explosion send all the ships around it flying. But when it explodes, nothing happens. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this, may be modify the TBL or smth.

help!

Exits are to the sides and rear.  Personal flamethrowers are located beneath your seat in case of emergency or naughty disposition.  If you run into any Shivans while crawling through the ductwork, it's probably just Carl.  Give him your lunch, don't make any sudden moves, and you'll be fine.



Anyway, set a special explosion on it with a large radius and high blast value (not damage value, unless you want that too).  Should do the trick nicely.

I did. I set the blast to 10,000 and I was only blown away 50 m or so

That was a typo in the ships.tbl.

Probably abbreviated, I'd say.  Everyone calls me Sesq, Sesqui, or Ses around here.  Mishakuz will likely be called Mish.

Testing special explosions require patience. Test as most types as possible. Set the ship to Kamikaze in the misc options. Set its damage to quite high.(2 000) It is recommended to modify the shockwave speed to faster. Be advised that all values has a maximum and minimum. Inner Radius damages, but blast damage only pushes but doesn't damage well.

Why set the damage high? In fact if you`re testing set the damage low and then you can test out several explosions in sequence.

Now setting the blast high is another matter :)

Plus, just follow all the advice Sesqui gave you.  Also, there are Type IV Phaser Rifles in the cabinets in case anyone gets... *ahem* out of hand ;7.
