I think you need some different textures for those ships on top.

Now that, that impresses me. :nod: The only criticism I have is that the projectile being fired by the fourth cannon lacks definition, it's too simple... it doesn't quite fit in. A definite piece of art otherwise. ;)

PS. You need a better thread title. :p

As I posted, the top image is an old render, from a year or so back. This was mostly to show to what extent my modeling has changed.

And I don't know that I can change the plasma bolt that much. Carrara sucks at particles, and it took me half an hour to wrangle it into that as it is. I might take a second go at it sometime if the program stops locking up whenever I open the particle system to edit it.

I'm slow, but not quite that slow. ;) And yet... well, you're a certainly a character, Stryke. ;)

Oh, and on the particles... they're still pretty good, that's just a remark I thought you might find useful if you didn't see it yourself. Personally, I thought it looked a little cartoony next to those industrial-styled guns and optic flares.

Ah, it was a ****up.  I figured out how to get the particles all realistic-like already, or at least kinda better looking. See other thread.
