This song is called: "The Devil Went Down to Freespace"
The tune to this song is the same as: "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"
The Devil went down to Freespace 'cause he was lookin' for a craft to steal.
So he searched the space for a trace, and he was willin' to make a deal.
When he came across a pilot fightin' an attack and playing' it rough
Then the Devil jumped up on an Orion and said, "Boy, you think you know your stuff."
"I'll bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fighter ace too,
And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
You've flown some pretty tough missions, boy, but give the devil his due:
I'll bet a fighter of gold against your soul I can intercept faster than you!"
The man said, "My name is Alpha, and it might be a sin
But I'll fly your trek, you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best there's ever been."
Alpha engage your burners and recruit your dogfight team
'Cause hell's broke loose in Vega and the devil's feelin' mean.
Now if you win you'll get this ace's fighter made of gold,
But if you lose the devil gets your soul.
The Devil flew a maneuver with style and perfect poise,
And targets turned into flames as he broke them like toys.
As his wingmen arrived with ease, he cooly stopped and stared --
Well, his Petri squad was mighty fine, but Alpha wasn't scared.

When the Devil finished, Alpha said, "Well, your valkyrie’s fast, I agree.
