Very nice. What did you make it in?

Anyway back to your question. I use Norse Viking names for my ships.

http://www.art-with-attitude.com/village/viking_names.html  Has both the name (duh!) and what it means.

And try a Google search "Viking names"

[Slowly] It's very nice!*

I like the model.  Talk to the people at 158th Banshee Squadron.  They need Terran atmosphere fighters.

I would call it the GTF Locius.

*Back in the sixties, there was a Wendy's commercial where the setting was a Soviet fashion show.  See Below:

[Woman walks in wearing a conscript uniform carrying a flashlight, thumping her military boots.]
Announcer: [Monotonously] Evening vehr.  It's very nice!

[Same woman walks in wearing the same conscript uniform with a beachball, thumping her military boots.]
Announcer: [Monotonously] Beach vehr.  It's very nice!

The purpose is to show how hamburgers at other fast food restaurants are basically all the same and Wendy's burgers are - A1 SUPAR!  The Soviets later had some problems with the commercial and they took it off the air.

Not bad.. and it's your first??

One gripe (you knew it was coming :p ) the fusealage (sp?) looks hella skinny for FS ships.., maybe bulk it up more towards the engines, but keep it aerodynamic looking.

And for a scout/interceptor I think it looks fine.
EDIT: I used 3DS Max 5.0 and extruded it from a cube.

I am still saddened by the fact that everyones "first model" is allways better than my "first model". So sad...

Anyways, nice ship, looks like a terran equivalent to the anubis (little fighter from fs1, annoying, no shields...)

Yes maybe but I got an advantage, namely 3DS Max 5.0 :D
[:nervous:] Actually my FIRST model was done in Blender and was a sphere. But that doesnt count. Right? [/:nervous:]
Hmm with Max it took me about an hour to do that.

ahhh...I see, this is kind of "first real model by FS2 standards" or "first real model you were happy with" then? Cool...I feel happier now...

That commercial is from the early 80s, not the 60s. Wendy's didn't even open their second store until 1970.
