Name some bugs/errors you've encountered during Freespace 1/2 multiplayer (especially with PXO)

There are certainly a lot of them. The most annoying one is by far the lag respawn bug which occurs when there is lots of lag; what happens is that you get stuck in the death screen, and even worse, cannot send messages or even close the game. Then we have the famous lag bombing bug, which allows non-hosting players to fire all of their missile banks at the same time under appropriate conditions. Then there is the host guns effect, which I have somehow noticed much more in FS2 than in other games. The "find player" feature does not work correctly, as it only searches for people in lobbies and not in games. One of the team missions, MT-07 (Ganymede Redux), has some strange bug that causes the Ganymede to warp out every now and then. PXO occasionally discards the stats for absolutely no reason, so often that nobody is really surprised when it occurs. The mission xfer sequence sometimes just stops for no apparent reason and the player to whom the mission was being sent cannot send any messages, so he either leaves or gets kicked; this is sometimes called an xfer lock. I could go on and on... :D

Oh lord, the list goes on and on, I doubt I could mention them all in one go. With cheating:

1. Being able to edit stuff in Fred so that killing a certain ship is 90000000... etc points. I dunno exactly when you are supposed to do this so that it validates.

2. Being able to award yourself any medal you want

3. In the debrief of a dogfight you can have your stats save as many times as you want (ie, if you got 50 kills in one mission, you can make it add 5 missions and 250 kills).

4. Lag bombing

5. Tab loading: give yourself any primary/secondary even if the ship isn't supposed to be able to load it.

I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any right now. Actual bugs:

1. Ghost ais that pop up during TvTs

2. Getting inside the gany (can be considered a cheat) in mt-07 and mt-10

3. Trying to play RI off a standalone, timing screws up majorly.

4. Personal experience, only happened to me once. I fired 8 torns at a support ship during TvT right before the host jumped. The support ship died while I was in my jump sequence and suddenly my kill count went to 2 million. I was promoted to rear admiral, but luckily none of that saved.

All I can think of right now. I'm sure there are plenty more though (should ask Warlock and CP).

Replacing missions that V put in with your own and getting them validated.

Getting new quality missions validated by V is my biggest issue/problem with PXO - I can only create and test them, but that stupid little check in the missionselection screen is beyond my abilities

I believe you have to submit the mission to PXO (Volition) and they 'approve' it or something.  I know only two user-made missions were 'validated' in Freespace 1, but i'm sure many are validated in FS2.
