Title: Trouble with PCS
Post by: WraithHost on September 28, 2001, 06:04:00 pm
well here is the problem.
I made a cob file that converts to make a .pof file
It worked but was about 10 times to large.
So I changed the scale option in PCS to get the .pof the right size.
This caused a stack overflow error  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

SO i rescaled the model in truespace and tried to convert that.
This caused a stack overflow also.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

If I can't fix this then the Iccarus (previously the Mercury) will be 270m long!!!

HELP ......please

1 TrueSpace meter = 20 Freespace meters.

Just for reference  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Had this problem a few times. No Idea what it is but i managed to get past it once by using cob2fs2 to convert the model, then opened the pof in pcs, converted it back to a cob, then used pcs again.
