Title: The source code project website
Post by: RandomTiger on January 09, 2003, 01:55:08 pm
http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fsscp/index.php

Could someone sticky this? As someone who cant make use of favourites because Im always online with different machines I find it hard to find links to this.

No point in making a good site unless people can find it easy. Newbies simply wont know it exists unless we make a point of it.

And it seems it LP navbar...

Oh well.

Hey, on the UBB, we can assign custom headers per forum, we use it to put links to specific websites. Cna you do that here?

;) :D

I think certain people should get SCP avatars, people heavily involved, like Goober, Inquisitor, Random Tiger, IceFire, etc.

Is that on the freespace.volitionwatch.com page or the forums? And plain vanilla www.volitionwatch.com doesn't count - they have Red Faction and Britney Dance Beat fans going there, too... :p (j/k... about the Britney thing, that is)

My keyboard sometimes inserts random characters....

No idea what that word was supposed to be, meant to say "no longer on the navbar"

hopes not up, just suggesting it cause i know I can do it on UBB :)

Oh so you're the one responsible for what happened in the main forum.

Eh? What happened? All I did was link the SCP logo/image that you see at the top of this page to the website.

Still links to main HLP, but that's not exactly what I meant :)

Catch me on ICQ, I'll dig up some examples :)

no one screw with the SCP page other than Inquisitor, cause if something happens then i get blamed! :)

what needs to be done there still though!?

Inquisitor, i probably won't be on for a while, so just leave me some offline ICQ messages, and i'll get what you want done as soon as possible :)
Title: Suggestion for site
Post by: RandomTiger on January 16, 2003, 03:07:03 am
Someone should look through all the past treads and take all of Daveb's code comments and put them on the site somewhere.

Just do a search by username, limited to the SCP forum, and show results as posts.

Well, yeah, but DaveB has posted on other topics besides the SCP ones, you know. He's even stuck his nose into religon and politics discussions quite forcefully. :p

I updated the Warpcore ("http://fs2source.warpcore.org/index.html") page, since it was horribly out of date.  The old page is archived here ("http://fs2source.warpcore.org/index_old.html").
