Post by: Nobilis Draco on January 09, 2003, 03:28:48 pm
she's about 2 clicks long. uses a gravitic displacement drive. has a complement of 80 fighters, 40 torpedo bombers and 30 assault transports.

Hmm... the top command tower is good, reminiscent (?) of modern seaborne carrier type...

If you're gonna detail the tower that much, though, it'll just look wierd unless you do the rest detailed, at least plated-like.

And if it's 2K long, those largish white things on the tower better not be windows...:D

I think the white dealies are hangars.

On the con tower? The hangars are in the big, squarish body section, not the big, squarish tower. I think.

Ooh... spacious.:D

Do they also get their own coffee maker? The bastards!

Or maybe they ARE windows...

"When the first great warships were being developed, experts said giving them actual windows would be a mistake, leading to fatal vulnerabilities, and possible nasty glass cuts. In the military, we have a saying: 'Even our mistakes are huge'!

That looks really nice! The hangars remind me of SW hangars. Very nice. :)

It's a nice model, but it seems awfully out of scale of it's 2 clicks long.

Yeah, the bridge tower makes it look like it's more along the lines of current wet-navy vessel size.

Well, there's no combat strategy quite so effective as showing your enemy your balls.
