Does anybody remember the Velocity mod. There was only one real problem with it. You had to be going less then 40 kps when you jumped out otherwise you would miss the jump point. I was wondering if someone could make a velocity mod sc build that automatically reduces your speed to 40 kps when you jump out, emliminating the problem.

Yeah, that was a great mod. :) Did that really cause any problems, though? I remember tinkering around with the speeds of fighters early during the FS years and my fighter wouldn't reach the subspace opening before it closed; but the mission always ended fine. Anyway, I never noticed that the Velocity mod also messed up the jump-out sequence. Oops. ;)

Jump point=subspace opening.
Only problem, otherwise perfect. I was just wondering if someone could tweak the code to automatically slow you down after hitting ALT-J. Oh yeah speaking of my brothers mods. Anyone remember the Actaeon? Fun model but needed better textures. :ick Anyone up for a reskin?

It must speed up the ship, I guess, so you can jump out from stationary... so maybe you could cap the speed.
