maybe some of you have heard of that strange virus that all the passengers of some luxury liners were catching... well it's spread to a neighboring high-school in my district
this one school on friday had 700 students and 40 teachers/administrators sick with it, and away from school
that school only has like 5000 students... crazy isn't it?
-
Small-pox?
-
no, it's like a stomach thing... the victims throw up multiple times, etc.
-
That's like so friggin' awesome f0-0lio!
-
yeah, like one out of six people is sick at the school... i guess Strykes plan to take over the world (starting with making people at a high school sick) is finally showing some results
-
So it's small-pox then.
-
no, it's not smallpox... it's an "unknown virus"
-
So there's a media-block on reporting this small-pox epidemic then?
-
it's only in Houston and Galveston i think... uhhh search online, you'll find quite a few articles about it. it only happened like less than a week ago
-
So, they finally unleashed their porn, err...bio weapons.
-
it originated in liners and cruises, people would get violently ill,and i guessit spread to the population :D
-
*sniff* sniff*
*smells some evil plan*
Is it serious BTW?
-
not too serious, i don't think many people have died from it.

Maybe the government just denies it...
*thinks he's been watching too many Hollowood action films*
-
naaaaa, i don't think there's any conspiracy behind it :D
i just thought it'd pretty cool that in that high school 700 kids and 40 staff were absent and called in sick with it :D

yeah no conspiracy...that's what they all say.
And we have about 700 students in our schools goddamit :D
-
*detects Evil Plan somewhere*
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be biological weapons.

I know! Fancy wasting a perfectly good school with only 5000 students!

but of course it is. he just called it a high school because it's on a mountain peak.

perhaps in Estonia or wherever... it was the same in South africa, our school had like 800 students at most...
the school i'm in now has about 3300-3500.
i was exaggerating a little on the high school that got infected by the way, it has about 4000 at max. (found out :) )
still, 700/4000 is quite a lot!
Stunaep: it's not a college, it's a high-school, i said that in my first post  :D

lol, when i said "5000 students... crazy aint it?" the 'crazy' part i was referring to the virus... the ratio of people infected ---> total students. 5000 is a very, very big sschool... i think ( see above post ) that it's actually like 4000

I never liked those cruise liner bastards. Disney, ya know.
Anyway, it's not really an effective bioweapon. Catches like atheism at a revivalist church meeting, but it's only really a two-day flu.
However, the "incurable" bit at least worked- there's no recourse but to ride it out.

{Tom Clancy conspiracy mode}
It could easily be a test with a non-lethal bug to see how rapid and widespread a true bioweapon could spread.
Either that, or it could be a 2-stage bug - give the person the flu at first, lie dormant for a few weeks, and then break out with stage two. :shaking:

Nah. Mark II comes out in a week- same symptoms, never ends.
-
well they chose the perfect place :D
(Actually.. I might have liked it better if it were florida)
-
Stryke's got it! :D :D :D
