That technique is used in a FS2 multi-player map... there's an indestructable hockey puck, and the team has to shoot the puck into the hole of the enemy Acradia installion, and once it goes through the hole, the puck blows up, the shooting team gets points, and another puck appears at the center point.

Alright using the mission that DC gave me, I have figured out a way to do this, first of all someone has to tell me that if a person has the same tbl files you have then can you you play a game in multi player
second I'll need a modeler and a FREDer(I think I got all that covered) but Im dont have that much time, but I think I could disguard my campaign for about 1-2 days to work on FS CTF, it shouldent be to hard to make it. The models I need are a good Red, Blue, and maybe a Green, Yellow, and Nutrial flag, mainly Red, Blue, and Nutrial. Second set of models I need is a good gole. Red, Blue, maybe Green, and Yellow.
And maybe, just maybe a ball, but I think the nutrial flag covers that

using flail guns and invincible cargo containers using the events editors distance comands to make who wins what.

Im aware of that, rember Im putting models in this not just cargo. Im also going to put weapons in it to make the game more fun, also a few missions, and if posiable an easyer way to make a mission for this

You could do a ctf mission without mods by just having the players escort a freighter that comes and picks up the cargo, and then tows it to the exit point. If the freighter is destroyed, the cargo also self-destructs, ensuring that the freighter has to travel the same distance every time. Both the freighter and the cargo have a massive number of respawns, so you can't blow up your own cargo to prevent the enemy from docking with it. The only problem is that the "flag" has to be picked up by the ai.

Wasn't there already a FS Capture the flag mission?
Was it part of the Silent Thread pack of player missions for FS1?
I remember playing one where there was an asteroid field between two jump nodes. By each jump node there were cargo containers. On each team there was wing of fighters and three Poseidon freighters. Each team's Poseidons would fly through the asteroid field to the other team's cargo, pick up cargo, and try to fly back to their node.
It went something like that, but I remember trying to stop waves of Poseidons trying to take cargo while you wanted to protect your Poseidons so they could take cargo.
Anybody else played this mission?
