Once enough packs are online, the first chapter will be released. Once the campaign is actually done, we'll consider voices and changing any messages needed to do it.

The next pack will either be Terran, SOC or Ancient, depends which is completed first.

Last one will be Shivan, lots of work to do there :)

Yeh. Yeh? YEAH! um, yes.
Getting much better results with the second server, btw. Can't wait to see all this that I've been looking forward to for so long though.

Don't use download accelerators on the link. You have to join a line on one of the servers to download it.

It's working here, though only 1 server seems to have it, and there's a 11min queue...

You're lucky. Most files have a 90+ min wait.

Post by: Woomeister on January 22, 2003, 05:18:39 pm
11 mins is one of the largest times I've seen for a FS2 file...

The tables are pretty easy to do, except maybe a little time consuming, i chose the icanus.. Yeah a ****-load of turrets, (looks at the Aurora Beam (Big), woah... And this way you can use whatever turrets you want :D

Out of curiosity, why weren't tables included?
Title: EA Pack V1

The tables will be in the core file VP which will have the effects and some other stuff in it.
These packs are the final versions for the main campaign not an early release version. Having tables in each one would get messy for me :)

Well, you've got a point there.

The core will be realeased when the other packs are finished right?

The Icanus is in there? (BTW, I realised I'd downloaded the EA pack the first time it was available, but never got round to using it while the HLPBB was down. :))

Sid.

When it's done I suppose. I'm the only one working on this at the moment so it'll take time.
A lot of the optional packs such as the music have been ready for ages, but I'll upload those all at once.

Oh, yes. And So It Begins. :D I can't wait... sadly, I think Chapter 1 will only be out a long while after I've left again. :o

You guys made you own music?  Awsome, I don't think I've seen any mods that have done that.

Very cool. The Icanus is definitely the pick of the bunch though - the best super-super-super ship yet released. The Nemesis is my second favourite. :)

We have the Syphon music track from VWA and a new track made by Vanethian which I got working in FS2 by messing with the numbers in the music table. We also have some FS1 briefing music.

That Syphon one is vile. Don't spoil the mod with it - it's better to use the original tracks than go for new, inconsistent MIDI crap that that one sounds like.

Since I've uploaded it for someone, here's the table for the Icanus. It's still useless as it uses our weapons pack :D

:) The Icanus is one of the best I've seen.  But truth be told, its the Gigas I can barely wait for.
