OK.  With my return to full time active duty here at HLP, I have volunteered to help out with the MT mod, but I am still also at work on the Combat Federation series.  What I need right now are writers, people to help out with the source books, and to do tech room descriptions.  Mission designers (as oposed to fredders) will be very useful as well.

Any help in these matters would be well apreciated, Scorpius is hard at work on the Mercenaries source book, and i am still working the TEC sourcebook, still need the VAC, LIR, and VAI source books.

Hey, didn't expect Analazon to be here :rolleyes: Newayz, I'd like to help. I'm better at writing than any of my other poor and useless skills :nod: So what kind of writing do you need? I can't really do FREDding as I'm still troubleshooting my FS2 to work smoothly, and I'm tied up with DatDB. All I can do is write :p

I'm assuming by source books, he bassically means plot backgrounds, history, all that lovely stuff that makes a mod so detailed.

As for his abbreviations, I have no clue.

His abriviations look like forces names to me... like GTVA???

Yes like battletech sourcebooks.  Everything you need as far as Force Composition and organization, systems controlled, and businesses will be presented to you.  In each source book would ships specific for each realm, the general layout of the books is finished, we just need to write the books.  As far as the ships specific for each realm go, the descriptions given there will also be the tech descriptions in the ships table, actually, that was how this whole thing got started.  A 400 year history for each realm will be needed, The Demo and Episode 1 take place in 2764.  Episode 6 will take place in 3060.  So between each Episode the source books will be redone with the new histories added, the new ships specific, etc etc etc.

After Epsiode 4, a new line of source books will also be needed, but that's another story for another time.  

Mission designers is just what it sounds like....people to come with the **** we will be building.  These are important because of the non linear nature of the mod.

The abreviations are for the four main groups of the mod.....The GTVA has created principalities, and in the end, the GTVA is no more, but the four principalities are......

TEC Terran Coalition
VAC  Vasudan Commonwealth
LIR  League of Interplanetary Races
VAI  Vasudan Imperium
