well heres the thing i have no idea how u guys make particle explosions so i decided to wack arround and i got this a FX generator for particles and hyperwoxels to do the particles and the only problem is how do i add a glow to the particles?
-
Change the self-illumination or glow value, depending.
-
First go to the Surface editor, select the partigon emitter, then go to the advanced tab and there you see GLOW add whatever value you want. Then go out of the surface editor and go to the SCENE tab, select Image processes, then enable glow there you see
Intensty: speaks for it self.
Glow radius: is the radius of the Halo.
-
no partigon emitter under surface editor
-
:sigh:
You can't give a glow to hypervoxels. But you can add a glow to a partigon emitter. And to be able to see a glow you need to use the surface editor, so you can give them a color or just leave them at there default grey color. Look at the pic below. Thats where you can add a glow to a surface. If you used hypervoxels it won't show up in the surface editor.

In "basic", junior. "Self-Illumination" or "Illumination" or something.
Or just stick a fribagin' light in there.

They would look only bright in LW it doesn't give a good glow.
And a light in it sucks also:D

someone should really show me how to do that right now i dont even understand WTF u need volumetric lights for ?!?!?!
-
the yellow round glow. Can do it easily w/o volumetrics, but it's one of the way you can do it.
-
how come hes particles are so bright and so stuck together???
-
Just play with the settings to get such a effect.
-
i have luminosity tied to the bed err... wait... uh... i mean tied to a distance based gradiant that's right. freudian slip, sorry.
