Not that I'm expecting many people to respond to this thread, but...
Is anyone out there able to create some ingame music for the TVWP?
I'm shooting for 5 or 6 tracks of ingame music. I need some variety, like some assault music, some "we've gotta hold down the fort" music, etc.
Any takers?

See Matrixmillion

Why not use the FS1 music? Seems appropriate.
-
Well he could do something like it but more.. "raw" so to speak.
something hinting at tense battles, with less sophisticated tech.
-
I do have some of the fs1 music, but I really would like to have stuff like Knight Templar said, more raw power.

If you want power go with brass heavy music. Wagner anyone?
OR
Deep male voices does it. Carmina Burana... I'm not talking about O Fortuna! but some other songs within that opera.

Why not keep it in the family and use some remixes of the old Descent MIDI music?
-
Oh I have a good idea...
Does anyone have the Total Annihlation music? That soundtrack was awsome and would do it.

I need a full fs2 soundtrack. Including hostile arivals, friendly arivals, two ro three action sequences, victory, defeat, etc.

All in good time H

Those can all be assembled by chopping up any decently varied song. Also remember that a lot of cues are shared between themes in FS2. There's no shame in a little recycling.

Use the Doom soundtrack.

Where can I get it?:D

A Doom CD would likely serve well as a source.
-
Durr, he was kidding. All the Doom music is far too well-known to pass unrecognized in another game.
-
Ah, but it'd be cool, no?
I just wanna see an interceptor mission using the main theme.:D
-
I know it is very well known, I was thinking about adding it as a "bonus" track.
-
There are lots of good Doom interpretations at Overclocked Remix (http://remix.overclocked.org/index.php). And several more at Bobby Prince's MP3.com page (http://remix.overclocked.org/index.php).

Some of the Descent tracks actually sound very nice, but it depends on what MIDI driver you are using to record them. (I have some software driver by Yamaha called SYXG50, which IMO is far superior to the normal SBLive driver)

you know what, I actually have one of those. a descent1 music a dude made for me when I was working on my descent campaign. Otherwise there's already a few official ones, were made for descent1 Mac ( only mac game I have, and use it only in my cd player  ).

might want to try some LOTR music, it might help a bit.
-
Apparently there was rather a lot of full Redbook audio for Descent II and its add-ons.
