I feel the need to chew the fat again, this time about OFP.

AARRGGGHH! it's such a great game. I, Lt. David Armstrong, have just secured Everon airport, paving the way for NATO's invasion. My god, it feels good.

I really liked Operation Flashpoint.  I bought it but it definitely does not like my computer (it being so slow and all).  But my brother in law has 2 really fast computers so we used to multiplay missions (I love the one that u have to rescue some pow's and raid the village that's to the right of it and they have tanks patrolling that village and wooded area).

Did you ever try to play Ghost Recon?  Granted, OFP is more of a military simulator and the AI is better in OFP than in Ghost Recon, but I loved the graphics in Ghost Recon and the ability to lean left or right (like the rainbow 6 games).

What also rocked was that at least the single player of Ghost Recon was playable on my computer ;)

Whenever I get a new computer I will definitely install OFP again though.

I particulalry like the fact that an Updated version of OFP is being used to train US Marines.

I'm playing through the prequel one, Resistance. Can't get past the mission where you ambush the convoy near the beginning. Everyone dies and the tanks seem impossible. Great game though, really like it. :D

Yes, resistance is bloody hard. The best thing to do on that mission is wait at the cliff top, and get your RPG men to kill the tanks, then charge down to kill the infantry and take the trucks.

DO NOT destroy the trucks, or you can't get the weapons from them.
