Title: what program to use to create a "hacker" feel animation?

as the subject says, i'dlike to make someting along the lines of that scene from the matrix, where neo gets that wierd message from is pc.  it's for a powerpoint intro for a lecture for school (see this thread: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,13066.0.html )

i mean like:

C:\*title here*
C:\results found:
C:\*topics here*


perhaps with some creepy soundtrack.

the programs available are:

PSP7, and animation shop3
powerpoint (duh)
flash (note, i'm a newbie on this)

(anything else there is, just don't ask where i get it,ok?)

Uhm, maybe you should stick with Powerpoint builds for now then.

dunno, i'm reasonable experienced in powerpoint, and personally,i'd rather use flash or animationshop. it's possible, but it's really hard to do well, and you can't make it look exactly the way you want, since yu can only use the pre-build effects, and can't make your own (AFAIK).

Another reason to make it an animation: it's easier to organize with the rest of the powerpoint.

id say since your not experienced with flash
use flashtyper from

or
swish
http://www.swishzone.com/
has some handy text tools should be easy to use, just get the demo
