Title: Question about a Video Card, technies help needed...
Post by: deep_eyes on February 16, 2003, 02:29:55 pm
My lil' bro's computer uses a PCI TNT2 32Meg card, now the problem here is that when he plays games, IE, Freespace 2, half life/counter strike, unreal T, etc, it freezes up and the screen locks as if its dripping bleeding paint. It happens almost right away or eventually, it only happens to games using DX, OpenGL, etc., anything rendered, im just confused on how this has been happening since i got the card and over 2 OS's, from 98, then XP.

any thoughts?

btw the drivers r the latest, even the oldest it still was drama...

system specs:
K62 400MHZ
All in one MB by SIS...(eww)
Built in sound card etc.
TNT2 PCI 32meg
256 Megs Ram
WIN XP
