Here I am, trying to delete a 512 meg file, and Windows sais it can't be deleted, because another application is using it. :wtf: I don't have KaZaA online, or anything else that could cause such a thing, except the anti-virus, which won´t allow to disable itself.

Check out the processes page. If it's not listed there...then it's not listed there :wtf: :blah:
-
start up in DOS mode and delete it from there
-
Windows XP.... no DOS mode.
Never mind, I got it off the damn HDD already.
-
Well technically it's still there...
-
whatever, but I can't delete this post.
-
it wasn't the swap file, was it? :D
-
bah, you know, windows hates you too, so...

Doesn't matter what version of Windows it is. Boot disk it up and delete the thing. USUALLY, something is using the file or was using the file and thats why you can't do anything to it. Windows doesn't like to let go very easily.
