First time I've made and designed a model specifically for the source code, actually.... finally got the glows working, albeit i need to move a the eyepoints a bit. I'm proud of this one.

The main ship in Achilles Heel, also cropping up as a bonus ship in Reciprocity.

i wouldn't want to name my ship achilles heel.
"Alright, pilot, you and your squad are being transfered to the GTD Vulnerable Spot. Just make sure you don't bump the port engine pylon on your way in, or the ship will explode."

good work man, all round cool ship
I like the ambient lighting and such, as well as your texturing style (very V like).
however, it kinda feels weird to have the cockpit be red. It makes me thing of evil and shivans and such, not really terran-ish. I realize it it probably just that way due to the red ambient (or the texture is that way since you intend to use it in mission with a red lighting scheme) but maybe you could tone it down a bit, it doesnt mesh all that well with the greys and borwns of the ship
again, very cool,the cockpit is just a minor thing

any chance of seeing a slightly brighter image??? crancked up the gamam and brightness to 100 on my monitor and i can barely estinguish the lights...

Anyway, nice ship there. I especially like the headlights.

very nice ship, the headlights are an extra touch. also adding to the cool-ness is the red. even though it's slightly shivan, it still manages to look pretty cool. IMO, it looks like the original apollo on crack. the cockpit etc. minus the x-prong thingy would yield a quasi-apollo. good show!

Very good, but I have to agree with Bishop Gantry about the images - I can't see the bloody ship! Yeah, the lights stand out, and very impressive they are too, but it'd be nice to see the rest of it as well!

I'm guessing the new source code allows those headlight-looking things, then? I'm a bit new at all this, but I didn't notice those in the game before.

The Source Code Project allows for quite a bit actually. Go to the SCP forum and check it out. Things like the headlights yes, as well as glowing textures and lots more.
