Title: Ideas for models
Post by: diamondgeezer on February 21, 2003, 08:24:52 pm
Hokay, since the modellers always complain about a lack of FREDders, here's a few little project to keep you TSers and MAXers busy:

1. USS Sulaco (http://employees.csbsju.edu/rsorensen/modelcitizen/gallery/sulaco.html), from Aliens

2. The USCM Dropship (http://www.lanceradvanced.com/Models/Images/dropship.jpg), also of Aliens fame

3. Tiberian Sun's Orca (http://www.tiberiumsun.com/renegade/vehicles/images/vehicle007.jpg) (plus the bomber and tranpsort variants why not :))

Then of course there's all those lovely S:AAB (http://www.space-readyroom.de/e_index.html) ships still begging for a POFfing...

wild guess: that's from halo?
the dropship is neat.
for the sulaco and the cheyenne, I can find very high poly (and kick ass looking ) meshes of those easily :)

More fun to make original stuff, though.  You have no idea how much doing the mesh for the Hammerhead got on my tits (which is the main reason I haven't worked on it for about 3 months)
