[glow=blue]LN-2 Frostbite Cannon[/glow]
--------------------------------
Ingredients:

Lamprey
Akheton SDG
Circe
Interface Art
Weapon Effect

Mix the weapons untill well blended, and chill to -200 degrees. Add interface art and effects, and place in ships.tbl. Remove comments, balance and serve cold.
Serves 4-6.
--------------------------------

Something different for you all to play with. I submitted this to Atankharzim and was turned down, and since I'm not committed to any other post-FS2 projects I'm releasing it for everybody. Everything you need is in the zip; enjoy!

Tech description:
Advanced research in the field of cryogenic weaponry has yielded a new type of disruptor cannon, the Frostbite. Using a similar nitrogen injection-diffusion system to the old Terran GTW-41 Disruptor, the new LN-2 supercools the target's subsystems rendering them useless. Enhancements from the Leech and Lamprey cannons have found their way into the Frostbite's circuitry as well, making the weapon equally effective against shielded fighters and capital ships alike. A side effect of the cooling systems makes the Frostbite quite energy-efficient as well.

And I'm sure KFC wouldn't mind having a look over new weapons.

BTW - your icon has a slight wobble in one of the frames - very minor problem, just thought you should know.
