This is a n00b question, so I allow you to throw beer bottles at me. Preferably unopened ones.
Now, why the hell this transform gizmo looks like this?

um... that ain't a gizmo. That's a light. :wtf:
-
Yeah, but the thing I'm trying to move the light with is called transform gizmo.
-
well what? you have it set as view align, and you're in camera view, so it'll rotate following the perspective. Y and X axis are red coz you've restricted them that way ( push F5->F8 or just click on any axis to switch ). If you mean something else, well, you gotta explain better.
-
Heh, I actually would very much like to set them back as they were before. You know what I mean...big...glowing..with those rotate archs (when rotating that is).
-
aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!
well you pushed alt or crtl/something, since I can't remmeber what is it, you can just change it back in the preference tab.

nah, saying "ah", but insisting on it like an old geezer.

You can "activate/deactivate" the gizmo with the x key, IIRC. :)

:doubt:
stupid me. I keep using this key (perfect when you want to select a vertex and the gizmo gets in the way ) and I can't even remember about it :doubt:

Heh, ok thanks. Got it now. :)
