That'd be
GTD Orion#2 (Bastion)
if you're using FS1.
-
And--
Diffuse cloud of elemental plasma (Bastion)
If you're using FS2.
-

Translation: Bug fart in space
:D (If you haven't seen Starship Troopers, you won't get this.)

If you haven't seen Starship Troopers, you've saved several million of your brain cells from a horrible fate.

So...Starship Troopers is the equivalent of sneezing several thousand times?

Don't knock it. It's not the first Heinlein book I would've made into a film. And it's sure as hell isn't a fine piece of filmmaking. However it did provide one of the greatest lines in film history:
They sucked his brains out!
I love Old Ironsighs. His only greater moment is when he gets killed in "Total Recall"
-
not that the film had much more than the names in common with the book. see, verhoeven thought the book was full of fascist propaganda and decided to turn the film into a parody of nazis and nazi propaganda...
-
The book was very interesting. Some people seem to get some sort of extreme allergic reaction to some of it's ideas though... But if you want to read about kick-ass mobile suits (the very first time they were seen anywhere in fiction I believe?), soldiers launching nuclear weapons from shoulder-mounted racks, leaping, jumping and flying over buildings and causing mayhem, read it. Also be prepared for lots of theorizing about society and morals. When comparing the movie soldiers with the real deal, you can only laugh pitying the poor bastards with their pea shooters and no real armor of any kind (those props don't count, they're wet cardboard when compared to the suits! I mean come on, they can't even be dropped directly from orbit individually like they're supposed to! ;)) The film and book have basically nothing in common, except that the main character is called Rico and he's poor in math...
Book: Awesome action, great tech, nice story, thought-inducing.
Movie: Popcorn action, pathetic tech, weak story, a no-brain comedy.

SST wasn't THAT bad. I thought it was so stupid it was funny. Battlefield Earth on the other hand.....
