I also hope to have the readme and launcher updated this weekend, and Fred 3.5 will get an official blessing too.

Do the bugs include the fact that damage textures and glow maps don't seem to functio together, or am I missing somehting?

Personally I haven't tried out the new 3.5, but is the nebula bug fixed? (Where a ship has its trails missing.)

Please call it (and tag it) 3.5.1 -- 3.51 comes after 3.50, which is still 45 releases away :)
This ain't decimal arithmetic: 3.5 != 3.50 And "three point five point one" isn't the same as "three point fifty-one"
... at least that's my opinion...

Yes.
But then there's the missile trail bug, which is entirely different. :)

Not yet, no. Need to find that bit of code.
Hope to have this released today, inlcuding updated readme and fred, but, the daylight is burning fast, so not sure i will make it today.
