Title: the programs to extract TBL's

hello.. this is my first post ..
i LOVE this mod and hope's that there will be a demo for this mod


well .. i have lost my descent tools again .. and i dont know where to download them :wtf:

where can i download the tools?

The Descent Network sites have pretty much all of the stuff you will need.  http://www.freespace-2.com/tools/

From there you will be able to access the rest of the DN sites, though most of the tools should be available from that page.

The program you are looking for is the VP viewer for FS1/2 (it also works with the Red Faction games too).

Anything else we can do for you? :)

In the meantime, while you're waiting for a demo, TAP was.... gracious enough to release three of the ships.

The Soomtaw Acolyte Fighter (http://www.dryphed.com/elorran/tap/sacolyte.zip)

The Firelance Ion Cannon Frigate (http://www.dryphed.com/elorran/tap/firelance.zip)

And the Turanic Raider Ion Array Frigate (you'll have to write the TBL for this, last time I checked) (http://www.dryphed.com/elorran/tap/iaf.vp)

That should be it. Now go get a copy of Homeworld and Cataclysm and start playing :D
