Erm...you arent abel to model a outer and inner tube in Lightwave modeler? seriously thats almost a primitive object in LW. and just mess with the surface editor to get the beam effect.

You didn't mention, only that you can't moddel and that you need a modeler and texturer. but follow the surfacign stuff from the TUT and try to adjust it to your tastes, thats how far i can help you atm. because there arent any tut's how to make a FS2 beam. but you already know that.

/me tries to stay calm...

Ashrak, LEARN 4 UR FRIGGIN SELF!!!

Thats the best way to learn, is to do it yourself. I can say without any doubt that you HAVEN'T been fooling around with LW Modeller if you don't know how to make a cylinder object.

I figured out how to make beams myself(and pretty good imho ;7 )  It doesn't take much... just TRY. If you even have an interest in pursueing a 3D artists' job, you need to stop trying to get other people to do work for you, because it'll never work out... especially if you don't even know how to do the basics.

Sorry, but people that don't even TRY for themselves before asking other people piss me off.

And ashrak, i know you haven't tried... way back when, when you asked me for Lightwave models and how to do lasers and beams, I offered to help(I gave you the models if i'm not mistaken, and taught you how to do lasers, but you totally ditched me before getting to beams... I could tell right then you never tried for yourself... just please, for once, just try.)

Sorry for going on a rant, but I need to vent my frustration :|

Cylinders suck.  X Method owns... there's a method floating around for it somewhere... will edit when I find it.

edit: Ahh, here we go:
http://www.mohhs.com/lw/pdf/
There's one there for lasers with the X method.
