I noticed that people making there own intros for Neverwinter Nights use told to make AVi's and then save/convert them to BINK with RAD tools (I already have them).. Of course they mention powerpoint but . Forget that.. , anyway can we do the same thing and use Bink video to make cutscenes instead or other formats??? Woudld it be easier or harder to make the code fit that format? Just a thought..

No bink please, that format is horrible. When a new game is released that uses bink movies, there will be soon many reporting problems in playing the movies. Every goddamn time. I too have a bink problem with one of my games, but other bink using games works fine.
It is much easier to just make an avi or mpg, which actually works better than bink.

Bink is only good for playback from CDs. DivX - better quality with significantly smaller file size.
