Er... ahem... anyway - how's the whole triple barrelled turrets actually using all three weapons thing working out?

You're now going to have to die a horrible, gruesom death for invoking the wrath of the "turrent-wraiths". Do you understand? :D
Once we can have volley fire guns and have control over the time between volleys we can very simply control the number of shots that come out.
So if we get control over the number of shots and the time between shots you can just setup a tripple barrel turret with a tripple barrel weapon that fires three times with 0 seconds delay on its volleys. Or, you can set it to 0.25 delay and they can fire rapidly from one barrel after the other.

Volley/salvo is one good option but what about having multiple different weapons on same turret?
GalacticEmperor, ehheh... That wouldn't exactly be fun all the time. :) And cycling is done already, at least it is usable with fighterbeams.
