Title: Everyone with hosted files

I forget how many people had files hosted on my server (this includes some of the FSSCP website files), but for the next day or two unfortunately they will not be available due to maintenance.

sorry for that, but with reinstalling the new hard drive me and the other admins decided it was time to clean out all our 'hosted' crap, so that's taking longer than expected.

"ouch" what?  it's just regular server maintenance... except we left it too late, we didn't do the "regular"... so now we have 40 GB of unsorted files... we must've gone through 2000 MP3s so far ;) lol

just thinking of the sheer logistics of it all

and without the fine art of backing-up you'd be so screwed :p

we're just sorting through stuff now before we format seeing what we should keep and not ;)

I backed everything up 3 times and still that wasn't enough to fall victim to the fate of the universe. ;-(

yeah, but that's on the server, and i (we) never keep anything very important on it.  a few applets, MP3s, HTML files, etc. and most of that's on our hard drives of our personal computers, which we do back up ;)
