Title: Model Texturing
Post by: Flipside on November 04, 2001, 08:24:00 pm
If anyone is having trouble doing texturing with their models, I suggest they take a look at Deep-paint 3. It's only a 30 day demo, but this program is pretty good for UVing and texturing up your models.

Get it at :-
 http://www.us.righthemisphere.com/products/dp3d/index.htm (//"http://www.us.righthemisphere.com/products/dp3d/index.htm")

It don't make it childs play, but it does make it a damn sight easier :o)

Well, I was almost happy.  But no *.COB support  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

I told you that It ("http://www.homestead.com/jskgames/files/home.html") would be done by November, well, mostly anyway...

That's easy, just save it as a textured OBJ, Truespace will load those as well ;o)

Oh yes, and for turning your COB files into OBJ Files, as long as no lights are involved (Which they shouldn't be until you get to LODding) Use 3D Explorer by the same company. It's a 30-Dayer again, but then, so is Deep-paint :o)
