Well I've got no idea what nurses where you guys live make ;) But i know here a RN makes a good deal of cash.

actually ... most waiters make more than $140 a month.

Post by: Ashrak on March 20, 2003, 11:55:55 am: err cancel the good byes lol im still alive :p the doctors are kinde freaky 1 says a week the other says 1hr and you be fine with the exeption of 1 month away from school (yay?) :p did major surgery on my toes now they hurt like hell a bit of blood but other than the ultra pain im allive yay!!!

well the deal was my toenail was growing into the tow (bad pain u know) so i went there last time i was there doc saied a week minimum in hospital the other guy told me to get on the friking table and took of my toenail and sliced up my toe untill he got to the roots and took about a few mm off of both sides so it should grov back normal now yay!!!

But one week in hospital???!! Aren't they supposed to like cut the nail out then give you some medicines and send you on your way home with an MC???

It got broken about halfway down, and folded right back on itself, leaving a nice hole in my toe. Nice and messy.:ick Had to cut off the loose bit with my trusty multi-tool, and tape it all up to keep it together. Kind of annoying (and painful).

[Edit] Actually, an0n, it's surprising how many times I've just got up in the morning and completely forgotten my legs. It's very irritating. :D

1. your tonail grows into the toe and brakes the skin
2. your toes start to rot bit by bit
3. you get gangrena
4. your entire leg goes blue and you cant feel it
5. you either a) go to the doc b)die
6 you went to the doc and they a) cut off your leg b) put you in hospital to try to treat it which has a succase rate of 30%

Well, if you put your tonail on the track and when the train runs over it you jump up from the train slam to it's side hitting some sharp part and you get decapitated:p

I mean, ****, man, I get ingrowns pretty much every other ****ing month. Just take out the Swiss Army knife, cut 'em off, clean up the blood. Maybe a little rubbing alcohol. There's your ****ing hospital. Never even had a day when it was too painful to walk, never mind losing my leg.

Plus, that'd be pretty pathetic. I can see it now, guy meets someone he knows in a wheelchair, nothing below the hips.
"Jesus, man, what happened? Car accident?"
"Well, you see, I had this nasty ingrown on my big toe..."

It's a duty one has, and at any rate I've only hurt people who richly deserved it. Or annoyed me when they knew what was coming to them, which is basically just asking for it, and I hate to dissapoint.
