Title: F-56 built, skinned, and ready to rock

Finally got the F-56 skinned.  Not too happy with the way this one turned out, I was happier with the F-80.  Oh well, I'm really happy with the way the 'smooth' textures look tho.  Thanx to the guy who gave me that tip.

Very nice, although brighter lighting might allow to see the model better.

Nice better than the last me thinks - now get some more!!! when do the french fighters (with acceptably low health and guns so we can destroy them easily without embarssment) arrive?

Haven't you learned yet?  In this conversion hitpoints and guns mean CRAP.  It's high maneuverability and engine performance you want for a REAL challenging foe.  Look at the F-44, it has the lowest[/b] hitpoints of any fighter in the game but it is the most powerful space superiority fighter available.  I personally think it even beats out the F-56 for pure Space superiority.  The Type-39 is a scary opponent also, 90(!)mps top speed WITHOUT afterburners.

The French won't be introduced until Episode 2 methinks (hell, I just got the demo for episode 1, act 1 finished.  Should be posted on my website NLT November 7).

I have no problem with that...

I definately see the resemblance...  No canards, and the wingtips are different, but I definately see it...
