The dock points don't work - they show up in Fred but it crashes in FS2 as if they arn't there!
Does PCS actually do 'proper' docks?
or am I doing something wrong?
please tell me
(GRD models start to swell, demo soon)

I've had working fighter dock points done in PCS.
looking at my notes I wrote
* Add 1 dock* make properties $name= Fighter dock
* create 2 points. 1st point infront of 2nd point with normals of 0,1,0
* Add spline path number 1
then in Paths
* Add a path for docking points
* name it $path01
* with parent $dock01-01
* add 4 Verticies
00 (0,60,1) radius 1000.00
01 (0,40,0.5) radius 40.00
02 (0,20,0) radius 20
03 (same as dockpoint 00) radius 0.1

That sounds like what I was doing before (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif) (I did have them working once in FSMM2 on test fighters)
Ill have another go.
thrusters are stating to behave unpradicibly... one keeps scaling to the nearest vetex cross-section.
