help me... I'm having a mental seizure here...
-
yeah, if it is for real :nervous: then it's a good gesture  :)

A scam. If it was for real they'd get posted off a _trusted_ news site or something.
People will do anything for money, its sad.

No, the people who send money to these kind of things are sad :doubt:
-
And where's the option where I can send burgers to the Cuban navy?
-
Maybe I should think of starting one of these things myself; these people must be making quite a bit of money off this...
-
Depends on how well they enforce fraud and larceny laws out where you live.
-
Where's Sandwich? We should send him a pizza. :D
-
it'd have to be kosher pizza, which limits the toppings a bit.
-
I'm fairly sure that this (http://burgeridf.org/) can't be kosher. I know what they put in those burgers.

:wtf:

nice one Tiara ;)
-
Actually, it's apparently got (or maybe had) a much better air force, but seeing as it's a rightfully paranoid island nation, I'd imagine it's got a navy too.
-
And maybe an army to match.:)
-
As the Cuban army hasn't really done anything at all since the Bay of Pigs, it's really more a few tanks, a lot of guns, and a civilian populace.

This is what I miss when I don't drop by all weekend, eh?
I actually think that's a real site - probably run by Chabad or some other religious organization - they count it a mitzvah (good deed) to give all sorts of yummy stuff to soldiers on duty - I've enjoyed their generosity many a time. Matter of fact, one year during the donught season (it's a particular holiday, Channukah, that those are made), I ate so many of them that I was almost sick to my stomach - but how else is one supposed to pass 8 hours at a checkpoint? :p
Anyway, there truly is nothing like hard army life to make you realize how tasty a good pizza or a cold cup o' Coke is, that's for sure. :D
