OK, you know that whole triple turrent thing? Could the same effect be applied to primary banks on a fighter, so that the gun points for a bank would fire in a cycle?
-
turrent
*Ahem* Did the SCP team get multiple barrels working yet?
I didn't notice cycling turrets...

im sure someone had the nial rotating its beams on the team, so i think the answer is yes

Bobbau. but it was a function specific to beams. (i think)
-
Its based on the number of shots in a beam (like in AAAf beams). Instead of firing multiple times, it rotates barrels. But it does not apply to primary cannons. Just fighter beams.
diamondgeezer, turrent is not a word nor shall it ever be one :D

So, now that the usual banter and B5 questions are done with (it's the same every time I ask a question in here), is there any chance of a programmer answering my orignal query please? Ta :)
Oh, click this (http://www.millportmachines.com/3vh.htm)

I ain't no programmer, but if you want to stagger fire from your primary banks then start firing with dual, then whilst still firing switch to first, second, then back to dual. The firing should now be staggered.
Unfortunately if you stop firing then start again it reverts to normal dual fire, so it isn't all that useful :p

THAT...is a affront to...to.....something!
Regardless of that very, VERY, strange example....turrets are rotational gun emplacements, that....is something completely different. People who say 'turrent' when refering to rotational gun emplacements are wrong! :D
OK :D
