We are going forward "FreeSpace 2 Unofficial Japanese Localization Project", but biggest problem is that we can't buy FreeSpace...
I can't find any online shop it selling FreeSpace series...:sigh:
Only one way to buy FreeSpace series may be using eBay?
Or, are there any projects to make FreeSpace series freeware?

I can't say where it can be bought these days, but FS2 can be downloaded for free at The Underdogs (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=4150). It is a huge download though, 219mb, and still doesnt include movies, cbanims and the like. But it'll play :)

Oh, thank you very much sir!
Is this a official freeware version?

Should be, since it's still there. [V] could have had it taken down if they wanted to.

Oh, I see! Thank you very much and =S= sir!

There's no need for all that "sir" nonsense. We are all equal here.
Of course, some are more equal than others.

but for the first freespace and silent threat about the only way is to go internet shopping or have someone you know give it to you if they have it

I assume "sir" used here is the English translation of the Japanese term of respect - saying "thank you" and addressing someone in a humble way, or something like that. It should be taken as a compliment. :) Japanese is like Vasudanish (?) that way - there's all kinds of nuances to the language for politeness and stuff.

 I find it deeply amusing that we are illustrating the qualities and mannerisms of a real living language with reference to that of a fictional culture of space aliens. A deliciously ironic role reversal, that.
By the way, the Vasudan languge is called Vasudan, just as the English speak English.
-
Why can't it be called vasudanicalismics?
-
Because it isn't.
-
We could soon change that.
-
How, you're outnumbered at lease two to one. It is pronouced Va-Soo-Dan, it has always been Vasudan, and will always be Vasudan.
-
It could be Welsh:
Fassudan.
-
Someone should ask Komet-san as well, after all it's his culture we're refering to.

Yeah. If Tiara were in here at the moment and she saw "sir" posted with her name in the thread, her axe would have a few things to say.

First of all I don't live in Japan and don't know the current trands is daily interaction.
Still I think you've taken it the wrong way - to sum it up in Japan you most of the time refer to someone with a title -kun/-san ect. even if you're close.
First name basis is a very private thing.
