I want to upgrade my computer. Here are the current specs:
AMD Athlon 1200MHz
512Mb Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM
Gigabyte GA-7DX motherboard
GeForce 2 Ti (64Mb DDR)
IBM 20Gb 7200rpm HDD
LG 16x 48x DVD drive
Hercules Muse XL soundcard
I'm definitely getting a CD-RW drive, and a few case fans. What I'd like to know is, what should I upgrade first from the above list? I'm thinking the graphics card, then the CPU.
What graphics card should I get? I'm limited to about £150 for this.
What CPU should I get? I don't want to get a few hundred MHz more and then have to upgrade again next year, but I can't afford to spend hundreds on a top-of-the-range processor.
Any Ideas would be appreciated. Also, websites that sell bits cheaply would be a great help. Thanks! :)

Well I'd suggest upgrading the Vid Card,...get a G3 or 4.
As far as the Processor, honestly with a 1.2 gig (If I'm reading that write,..I don't use AMDs) that you're fine for a bit,... but if you're going to upgrade got for a 2Gig at least.
Also you can upgrade your harddrive to an 80 gig for about $100 if you shop around.
Links: http://www.tigerdirect.com/ thought others most likely have better,...I prefer buying locally (hate waiting on UPS)

I'm still putting along on a 450Mhz system with 128mb of RAM. So just die, okay?
