Title: I search modeller for my MOD
Post by: diamondgeezer on March 31, 2003, 11:55:24 am
Sorry about the title. Couldn't resist it :D

Anyways, I be on the hunt for a 3D model chap who can alter a model of mine. I have a fighter which needs to be sort of... stretched... in to a bomber. To be honest, I don't know what the final product should look like, I only have the description about it being a longer version of the fighter... thus there's a certain amount of leeway for creativity.

Bag of jellybabies to anyone who could help.

Usual rules apply - you get your name in the credits, and a copy of the model to play with, etc. PM/MSN/ICQ me if I've ensnared your interest.

DG out.

Well, I don't need CP to tell me that the chances of anyone having my SNES are a big fat 0

Come on guys, someone must want the jellybabies...

Yeah sure, everyone wants jelly babies, but for most people its easier to just go down to the shops.
I'd like to help, but i still lack some of the relevant software, and most of the relevant skill, to get a model into freespace. :sigh:

There's nothing you actually need for making models that isn`t available for free download.

Yes 3DS max would be nice but you don`t actually need it :)

As for skills. Check my turreting tutorial and you`ll see it's actually pretty easy.

Seeing as nobody is offering.....

I'll do it as long as the model format is one of the following:

POF
COB
3DS
LWO

I can muck about with all three of them. :)

POF dispatched.

KF your pedigree chum, do we use MSN or ICQ?

[EDIT] :wtf: the words I'm typing are appearing in the wrong order, despite several attempts at editing... what in the hell is all this? And is it my imagination or has the title of the thread suddenly had a word swapped about?

The Baracuda. All I know is that it was supposed to be a sort of stretched Hammerhead. Or something.

MSN - but I'm rarely on.

I've done the POF, but hotmail doesn't like doing attachments for some reason.....

I'll try again later.

You'll need to use [email protected] as that's my MSN sign in addy. It just got to be spam central so I dumped it as my regular email addy.

I know somewhere where you can buy a (2nd hand) SNES for £20.  Looks a bit grubby, though.

NB:  I have a stretched hammerhead already done... sort of.  The original model was a bit long in the neck, so I moved the neck down a bit.  Uses the same maps et al... In fact, I'll try and upload the 2 of 'em... if someone can find me a piccy of the underside (specifically those rear enginges / insets at the very back), I might even get roung to finishing the damn thing.
