Here are the rules:
Compose a mathematical model that creates a plot of points that link into a 2D curve or a 3D surface. Whoever has the strangest curve/surface wins a... cookie! :D
With your picture, please also include the following information:
1. The fuction/implicit equation
2. Domain and Range of the function (Include bounds for the fuction)
3. Type of function (Rectangular, Polar, Parametric, Cylindrical, etc.)
4. Generator (Graphic calculator, math program, etc.)
5. Any other useful information such as intercepts, extrema, saddle point/inflection point, holes/asymptotes, etc.
Post away!

Name: Klein Bottle
Equation: (x²+y²+z²+2y-1)[(x²+y²+z²-2y-1)²-8z²]+16xz(x²+y²+z²-2y-1)=0
Range: N/A
Type: Manifold
Generator: Borosilicate Glass
5. It is a one-sided non-orientable 4-dimensional closed surface. Click here for a more verbose description. (http://www.kleinbottle.com/whats_a_klein_bottle.htm)

1. Function:
Y1: sin(x)^tan(x)
Y2: 1/Y1
2. Domain/Range: self-explanatory
3. Uhhhhhhhhhh.........
4. Can be done on graphing TI's (i have a souped up 82, myself) but that graphic was taken in Joey_21's Scientific Calculator (see siggy).
5. It appears to be an actual graph of infinity.

Meh. Just cut the Klein bottle in half.
