Guys, expect me to release several retextured (to look "Freespacy") models of certain Descent 2 robots in the next few weeks. I'll post some renders soon.
Meanwhile, do you guys happen to know is there is a OOF2COB program (OOF2POF would be better). I'm looking forward to get some Descent 3 models into Freespace. I've been waiting to do that for months now.

I made many descent3 ships to FS2.
there's a prog to extract the oof files of descent3, to 3ds file only tho, and the UVmappings are lost (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)
It won't work with descent1/2, so I had to made the pyro GX from scratch.
You have to know that converting descent models is a difficult task, since they're made of intersecting subobjects, a thing that FS2 won't like (it will look ugly, big clipping pbs since the FS2 engine Zbuffer is terrible).
