I'm in the process of converting FS/FS2 *.pof files into *.PSO files (models for IW2), If you made a ship that in which you would want to be put into an FS2 campaign for Independece War 2, email me with the following:
-Original model of the ship (COB, or 3ds)
-Textures
-Physics Info
-Mountpoint info (dockpoints, gunpoints, turrets, subsystems)
Due to the limits of the IW2 engine, you can't have more than (im not sure of this number) 1000 polys in a subobject. However, you can string many subobjects together to form a model. If an object has more than this number, please spilt it up or it won't show up at all.
Also for turrets, give me coordinates and a separate COB of them at global (0,0,0).
If you can include your ship in LightWave 5.6 Format with full UV support, that would be appreciated (less screwing around for me)
