With all the new features and bugs added in the last few weeks, it's high time for another SCP developer meeting - as I recall, the most recent one was back in January. I talked with Inquisitor, and he's letting me run it - so I thought it'd be good to have it this Saturday, 4/26, at 2 PM EST (6 PM GMT).
On the agenda...
- Bugs, and squashing them. There have been way too many of them since 3.5, and we should get them under control before we think about releasing 3.6.
- Getting the missing code since the DX merge back under one roof. Bobboau has mentioned that a lot of his stuff went missing, and we should check if that's the case for anyone else.
- Updating the readme.
If anyone else has any suggestions, post them in this thread, and they'll be added.

so...did anything come out of this? Any idea when fs2_open will be fixed up again? (i.e. all the features merged into a single exe)
I would have come but I probably wouldn't have been of much use since it looked like this was mostly for programmers.

No, nothing really happened at the meeting. There's pretty good agreement about what needs to be done next - bug fixing and re-merging lost features - but we'll need to work out the logistics of who does what, how. We definitely want to get the project stable again before we release 3.6.
It's good for non-coders to come, though, because they get an idea of what makes the coders tick and often they can contribute helpful suggestions for improvement.

are there plans for another meeting soon? if so, make sure you pimp it all over the fourms,and mail/pm the coders, so everybody knows about it. this might seem excessive, but the more pimpige, the better IMHO. (at least for something as impotant as an live SCP thread, not for every campaign.)
