Title: Glowpoint Question

Ok, this may seem really random, but I have a couple (ok, a lot) of questions about glowpoints.  First, if the associated submodel for a bank of glowpoints is something other than the hull, are the glowpoints' positions determined from the parent object's center?  If so, then are other properties (such as, say, rotation) inherited from the parent submodel as well?  And should glowpoints be within the bounding box of the model/parent object?

Also, what values should be given to on/off times for always on?

I have an idea for a new model, but if what I want to do isn't possible then I shouldn't even make the model.
